Dr Wang is an emerging leader in the field of nucleic acid (DNA/RNA) chemistry and anti-cancer drug development, with 49 publications and over 2,300 citations since he received his PhD degree in 2015.
His research in functional nucleic acid research attracted wide media coverage locally and nationally (ABC News & The West Australian). Recently, he was awarded the 2022 Raine priming grant.
