Water Quality and the Microbiome Study (TUMS): The effects of chlorinated drinking water on the assembly of the infant gut microbiome

Investigators: David Martino, Debbie Palmer, Desiree Silva, Kimberley Parkin, Matt Cooper, Susan Prescott

External collaborators: Claus Christopherson (Edith Cowan University)

The TUMS study is looking at domestic tap water treatment and the friendly bacteria that live in the gut (the microbiome). This study will help ensure that the way we treat tap water is also optimal for promoting a healthy tum.
