Mehreen Sohail is a Research Assistant in the Child Physical Activity, Health & Development team at The Kids Research Institute Australia, working under the supervision of Professor Hayley Christian.
With a background in pharmacy and a Master of Public Health from the University of Western Australia, Mehreen is enthusiastic about building a research career that contributes to improving child health and wellbeing. Early in her research journey, Mehreen is actively involved in health promotion projects aimed at supporting physical activity and healthy development in young children. She is particularly interested in how early childhood education and care settings, as well as home and community environments, can foster positive health behaviours from a young age.
