Senior Research Fellow

Dr Rhylee Sulek is a Senior Research Fellow with CliniKids.

Her research focuses on supporting children with neurodevelopmental conditions and their families, with a particular emphasis on the early years of development. Dr Sulek is especially interested in how evidence-based practices can be effectively translated from research settings into community and service contexts.

A core component of her work is the inclusion of stakeholder perspectives, including those of caregivers, practitioners, and autistic individuals, with research aimed at building a more nuanced understanding of how early supports are experienced, valued, and interpreted across different contexts.

Across her work, Dr Sulek integrates quantitative and qualitative methodologies to bridge research, practice, and lived experience, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that children and families have access to the right supports, at the right time, to ensure positive outcomes.
