Rowan is a clinician, researcher and health administrator at Perth Children’s Hospital. Rowan's research  is in technology and innovations for therapy interventions for children with disabilities. Developer of Zingo: a gamified therapy prescription app for children, Rowan is committed to improving the evidence base in paediatric physiotherapy for children with neurodisability. He is a recipient of several research grants and has presented at multiple international conferences. In 2021 was awarded the Technology & Innovation Award by the European Academy of Childhood Disability.

Specialising in physiotherapy management of children cerebral palsy, Rowan has experience leading gait, biomechanical and adaptive equipment consultative clinics to support physiotherapists to optimise therapy outcomes. Rowan is experienced in training local rehabilitation workers in low to middle-income countries, and physiotherapy students and graduates in Australia. His current position is leading the roll-out of a new community rehabilitation service for Perth Children's Hospital.
