Henry is a Research Assistant working on the Many Healthy Lungs project.

He has a number of years’ experience working as a clinical respiratory scientist, prior to which he worked as a physiologist at the Australian and Western Australian Institute’s of Sport.

He was awarded the 2014 Frank Pyke Memorial Scholarship in Sport Science, Exercise and Health at the University of Western Australia, followed by a post-graduate scholarship in physiology at the Australian Institute of Sport in 2015. He is currently completing a PhD in exercise physiology at the University of Western Australia.

His area of expertise is the physiological measurement of exercise capacity and lung function, with current research interests including novel techniques to enhance exercise performance, developing more accurate reference data for interpretation of exercise and lung function testing and promoting lung health in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities.
