National Vaccines Platform – Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Community Advisory group

Telethon Kids Institute is leading the development of a National Vaccine Platform for conducting trials to improve protection from diseases that can prevented with vaccines. We are seeking people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds to join our new Vaccines Community Advisory Group.

We are seeking expressions of interest from a Culturally & Linguistically Diverse background from across Australia to join our Community Advisory group.

Vaccine trials have been run for many years and the health of the community has benefited from their development and study but there is still much to learn about the best way to use vaccines and to develop new vaccines, which is why we are developing a National Platform in this area of research.

Our community advisory groups will advise what research should be performed, how the research should be conducted, ensure local leadership, provide cultural guidance and help share results with families and communities.

Meetings will be held online four times a year and be a maximum of 2 hours and we will pay an honorarium of $50 per hour for meetings.

If you have any questions, please call us on 08 6319 1413
